Who I Am:
I have held my real estate license since 2006. I am a member of WRAR, NAR and MAR. I practice real estate as a full-time profession and I make myself available to meet my clients schedule. I pride myself in being dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. I offer both buyer and seller representation. I have earned the designation of Accredited Buyer's Representative and am an active member of REBAC (Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council). I have also earned the LMC Graduate designation for loss mitigation and most recently earned the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation in Maryland. This designation is held by less than 1% of realtors nationwide. The CDPE designation trains agents in foreclosure-avoidance alternatives, including short sales.
The CDPE training continues to adapt to the changing mortgage crisis to provide real estate professionals with the best possible solutions to help homeowners in need. The real estate industry is facing its most challenging period in history, and CDPE-designated real estate agents are leading the charge toward recovery. Hundreds of thousands of struggling homeowners across the country have been able to find real solutions, including short sales, with the assistance of CDPEs. In a short sale transaction, the lien holder accepts the selling price of the home, even if that amount is less than ("short” of) the borrower’s mortgage balance. This foreclosure avoidance option is less harmful to a homeowner’s credit score, will not challenge employment or security clearance, and provides the possibility of future homeownership in a shorter period of time. Agents with the CDPE designation assist distressed sellers based upon their individual needs, which contributes to their consistently higher success rates with short sale transactions.
